dizzy?

Ok, so it's been a while since I've posted. She keeps closing the computer when she goes to work. Can't open the stupid Mac without an opposable thumb...

I keep seeing these great bags coming in the house, white with red writing. They crinkle good. When they come, she says they are from dizzy. Now, I know dizzy. It's when nobody's home and I chase my tail (can't do that in front of them, it's my stupid showing). You can't get bags from dizzy.

She left one open the other day, and there was YARN in it!!! Oh, happy day. For me, of course. Now, I've chased my tail enough to know that something isn't right here, cuz I've never gotten yarn from doing that, just a cramp. So, where's it coming from? When I pulled one out, there was a little card, with a little sheep. Fiber on the hoof, great things, sheep. The little sheep looks just like me after a few spins, so maybe that's dizzy?

She's working on this awesome poofy thing that I sleep on when she's not around. Doesn't look like that yet though. And, it's blue.

Fiber is my first best thing. Bags are next. This time, the bag won out.

I let her have the batt back (well, most of it anyways) but I kept the bag. After I handed it over, this is

I'm Quinn. My whole name is Quincy, but I don't usually come to it. I also don't usually come to Quinn either, but it happens enough that they think I have it down. They are the people that I let live in my house. They think it's theirs too, but I digress.

One of the people in my house is a knitter. A spinner, too. There's a whole room upstairs that I let her use, and the wonderfully colored fluffy stuff that she spins and knits. I sneak up there whenever I can, and if I don't get caught right away, I can look out the window and watch the traffic and play with the alpaca and the merino. If I do get caught, then I just make a mad dash with whatever I can grab, and hide it for later. Once, when they were all gone, the whole bag of alpaca fell on my head. It was glorious! I took it down the stairs into my living room, and had a lovely afternoon with the alpaca all to my self. Of course, by the time they all got home, it looked like I'd sheared the alpaca in there, but it was great fun!

I have my own stash in my bed. It's the stuff that I don't want anyone else to mess with. Of course, the stash upstairs is mine too. Don't let her kid you. I just let her touch it. I have the stuffed heart that was supposed to be for a science lesson at her school, but I grabbed it and hid it so good that she never finished it. The aorta and the pulmonary artery are mine too. I carry them around. I also have a good sized pile of silk and merino roving that when she finds it, I'll probably never get out of kitty time out. It's worth it though.

Everyone's been home this week, so I get caught before I get much done. Maybe she'll get out the spinning wheel later and I can add some more to my stash!
